Abstract

The Child Psycbiatry evolution in Madrid is describedfrom 1900 to 1975. lt is splitted infive stages: the precursors (1900-1936). The years after the war (1939-1949). The stability (1950-1959). The growth (1960-1969). The maturity (1970-1975). Brief biographies of the child psichiatry specialist of tbese years are narrated, and their most important works are mentioned.
