Abstract

The authors review the concept, validity, reliability, etc ... of "soft neurological signs" (SNS) and the different variables: age, sex, 10, etc ... that have to be taken into account.

Also the most important studies of SNS in the Hyperkinetics Syndrome are summed up. The most rigurous studies from a methodological perspective, are against the specificity of SNS in this syndrome.

Finally a model for the use of SNS in clinical practice is proposed.
