Abstract

Pediatric consultation-liaison psychiatry is undergoing change and may be expected to exhibit major growtb in the near future, in part because of the new concepts about Child and Adolescent Psycbiatry emerging through medica! stajf and society. About 20% of infants, children and adolescents seen by pediatricians are in need of mental health services. Good collaboration between Pediatricians and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrics is needed.
