Abstract

The epidemiological approach in child and adolescent psychiatry is a good method in order to analyse the clinical stage anda research instrument of mental and emotional disorders in childhood and adolescence. The correct methodology in epidemiological research needs: unifying the diagnostic case crlteria: developing the accumulative psychiatrlc case registers and longitudinal follow-up researchs in order to evaluate the treatment's efficacy and effectiveness.
