The intention of this study is to make a general overhaul on the suicide in the adolescence, as well an evaluation of the clínica! aspects and epidemiologists on attempts of suicide attempted in a population of ado/escents of between ages 12 and 17, in a sample of 2 5 cases studied in our unit and obtained in the period between april of 1996 and march of 1997. The variables that were studied are: age, sex, JQ, attempted method of suicide, penple they live with, relations between the parents, number of brothers, birth arder, socioeconomic status, cause, number of attempts, degree of clinical effect and date of the attempt.
