Resumen

Uno de los temas fundamentales, y sin duda más apasionantes, de la psiquiatría actual es el estudio de las experiencias tempranas de la vida y su posible relación con la vulnerabilidad para padecer enfermedades. El interés por los primeros años de la vida del ser humano no es nuevo y, de hecho, el psicoanálisis se ocupó de la depresión anaclítica del lactante y del padre castrador como generador de problemas en el hijo. La investigación actual sigue otras vías más complejas, y al mismo tiempo complementarias, que abarcan, de forma resumida, tres tipos de trabajos
