Vol. 33 No. 2 (2016): 60th Congress of AEPNYA – a shared initiative with AACAP

We are delighted to welcome you to the 60th Congress of AEPNYA (Spain’s Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry Association), that will be held in Donostia / San Sebastián. This special event is a joint
initiative with the AACAP (American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) from the
USA, the very first time this world’s largest child and adolescent psychiatry organization comes
to Europe. Our two societies have a strikingly similar developmental history: the AEPNYA 60th
Congress parallels the 62nd Annual AACAP Meeting which will be in New York City in 2016. In
our progressively more global environment, we are committed to working together and creating this
exciting melting-pot opportunity!
