Abstract

Serious maladjustments in the behaviour of children defined as psychotic could be explained by analysing their evolutional development from urhen they begin to obtain fenowledge up to their basic intellectual structures. Alteracions in «the construction of reality» and the «symbol formation» in the child, taken from the genetic psychology of Piaget, and malfunctions in the process of interaction of the child with his surroundings, thereby upsetting the balance betwen assimilation and freedom from constraint, may be a theory which brings us a little nearer to an understanding of the problem.
