Abstract

We present a case of hospitalism in a child who remained admitted during his two years of life in the Sagunto Hospital Pediatrics Service. We want point out the situation of lack of mother-child bond due to the the child's illness that led to his hospitalization in the neonatal period, as well as symptoms of hospitalism presented by the child and the lack of social resources to alleviate these types of problems.
