Design of an inventory far the detection of infant emotional mistreatment

Abstract

According to the A ndalusian Association for the defense of children and prevention of mistreatment, mistreatment is any non-accidental action or omission, which endangers the satisf action of the basic needs of the child. In our report, we provide an inventary Jor the detection of the mentioned mistreatments. This "I.D.M.I." is composed of sixty items selectedfrom the C.C.B. by Cardoze-Rodríguez Sacristán, used in our unit. Of these, twenty three items selected Jrom the inclusive criteria and thirtyseven from risk criteria. "ID.M." explores the areas of pregnancy, delivery, the neonatal period, and personal background, the Jamily profile and the psychological characteristics of the mother and Jather. From the factors inclusive risk criteria are talken that detect psychological infant child abuse in the sociofamily context.
