Abstract

We explain the cytogenetic study of eight cbildren that are between 4 and 13 years old, with the Jragile X Syndrome and the familia! affectation, remembering their pbenotype and clinical cbaracterisctics, so although this syndrome is properly delimited, it may be skipped in spite of its high effect in the general population. We expose the psycbopathological study: cbaracteristics of the mental deficiency, language, character, hiperactivity and stereotyped activity since this may be signiftcant and decisive Jor suspecting the diagnostic. We compare our discoveries witb those originated in the bibliograpbic revision about tbe last three years we bave acbieved.
