San Carlos Study on adolescent suicidal behavior bas been a focus of research since 1990. The objectives of this study are: the epidemiological analysis of the suicidal behaviors among adolescents, the study of the individual, familial and social characteristics of these youngs, the definition of groups at higher risk, the development of preventive programs and the evaluation of such programs.
In this report we show the general description of our sample of adolescents with a suicide attempt, composed by 43 females and 11 males with ages ranging from 13 to 18 years.
