Abstract

Antonio Jover was a professor of pediatrics at the University of Havana, in colonial times, author of a text for the teaching of the subject in which he dedicates some chapters or lessons to topics that today are the object of attention by psychiatrists children. The work was published in Barcelona in 1893 and has interest as one of the precedents in the study of our specialty.
