Abstract

S!udies do no! support the efflcacy of neuroleptic agents as standard treatment far anorexia nerviosa. There is lit/le knowledge aboiil the potential effectivi­ness of olanzapine in treatment of anorexia nervosa. We present an illustrative clinic case with complete remis­sion of symptoms in a male adolescent with o!anzapine combined with systemic psychotherapy Further rese­arch is essential to provide the necessary information on the efflcacy of olanzapine in adolescents with anore­xia nervosa.
