Abstract

This article presents the Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) applied to a group o/ family patients with Eating disorders. There is no reason why the family has to be the cause of Eating disorders but the affected family may and usually keeps up the problem. FolLowing the IPT strategies, these identify the interpersonal relationships and exactly the area of disputes as a perpetuation factor of the Eating disorders. This way, the used strategies and techniques are straighly addressed to a change in the family interpersonal relationship, to a change in the family interaction nature so that it can make the Eating disorders improve.
