Clinical case, trichotillomaniaAbstract
Trichotillomania is defined as the irresistible urge to pull your hair out. Described by Hallopeau (1), French dermatologist, in 1889. The literature on trichotillomania appears mainly in dermatology publications until the 1950s, and since then it has increased in psychiatric journals, due to clinical, etiological and treatment implications.
