Resumen

A pesar de la gran cantidad de investigaciones que en los últimos tiempos se han llevado a cabo sobre los trastornos de la alimentación, han sido pocos los estudios dirigidos a investigar estos trastornos en la población infantil. Sin embargo, los datos disponibles sugieren una alta prevalencia en este grupo de edad, que implica a distintas alteraciones. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar un cuadro general de las principales dificultades de la alimentación en los niños y revisar las presentaciones clínicas más frecuentes descritas en la literatura.
